Biography
John Wayne Dobson, age 79 of Montour Falls, NY went home to his Lord and Savior after a brief illness, John was born on March 14, 1932 in Sayer, PA. He was the son of the late Lawrence and Gladys Whipple Dobson. John graduated from Lehman High School and then entered the U.S. Air Force serving in the Korean Conflict. He then entered the workforce at Westinghouse and retired in 1991. He is survived by his wife Sandra and children: Wayne (Susan) Dobson, June (Steve) Glosenger, Susan (George) Richter, Bruce (Becky) Dobson, Bob (Deb) Dobson and Fred (Kyra) Collins. Sisters: Pat (Bob) Fell, Virginia (Tim) Nichols, Anna Wheeler, eighteen grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. His previous wife Dorothy Dobson, brother Jack and his parents predecease him. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Montour Falls First Baptist Church from 10 AM to 12 Noon. His funeral service will be held there at 12 Noon. The Rev. George Norton will officiate.
