Visitation at Funeral Home
I grew up across the road from Irene and Bill. I never knew her as anything except Irene. I also never knew she was inro archery. I did know both Bill and Irene as very generous neighbors. Bill and Irene helped us many times with the everyday problems of life. Both were very happy to know I became a Christian. I remember Jimmy, Betty, Ruth, Mary and Alice with fond memories in growing up. I am glad to see Irene and Bill are together again. Schuyler County has lost a great couple and a morale inspiration of what a true neighbor should be. May the family and friends always be bless with memories of what a true neighbor should be. I look foreard to seeing you again in a few years. God bless America.
Kathy and I have fond memories of Irene. Always interested and willing to serve her Savior. I don't believe we ever heard her say a negative word about anyone. Sweet, godly woman.
We have so many wonderful memories of Bill and Irene. They were an inspiration to us. Bill’s wonderful laugh and Irene’s sweet spirit make us smile in remembrance. I remember when we unexpectedly ran into them at a gas station in the Adirondack Mts. We were young and expecting our first child in a couple of months and decided to drive to the mountains for a few days of vacation. We had gone to church and were filling our gas tank to reluctantly head home, when Bill and Irene pulled up. They ended up inviting us to stay a couple of nights with them in their extra cabin. What a fun time we had!! We considered them dear friends and appreciated their wisdom.
I am so glad they are together again and so thankful for the privilege of knowing them both. God bless the family as you celebrate Irene’s long and beautiful life.
Thoughts and prayers to Betty and Christie. On your loss of Loved one.
Many memories from my childhood. My condolences to the family
May you find peace in knowing that Irene & Bill are together at last with their wonderful Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. What a tremendous example they were to all of us. A marvelous demonstration of how true christian life should be lived. They both are and will continue to be missed.
